About Us
The Renewable Energy Centre (REC) is an institution that strengthens the efforts of the State of Chile to develop non-conventional renewable energy (NCRE).
Through the direct contact that manages the CER with all members of the NCREindustry, is also a supplier of inputs to the Ministry of Energy in the design of new policies in this area.
CER’s mission is to promote and facilitate the development of industry NCRE, coordinating public and private, to optimize the potential use of non-conventionalrenewable energy resources that exist in Chile, helping to have a secure energysupply and sustainable economically, environmentally and socially.
